For @mlgb

i think you will like this one!  They had cold soup every day.  I hadn’t noticed it before.  It was always in the same place in the Observation Lounge on the Starboard side in between the coffee and the food at the station closest to the bow.

We will be on the Breakaway out of NOLA. We live near Seattle, so we are very excited for warmer weather and the sun!

We just did this cruise in February and had a blast!  We did it in February 2022 as well, but with only about 1,000 passengers on board.  While it was nice having a very uncrowded ship, we both thought it felt a bit creepy at times.  We once walked the entire length of Deck 12 and didn't see anyone, not even any workers.

I'm expecting a full house with a lot of kids! It's our spring break, and it looks like from my other cruise social media page that it's other people's spring break as well.

Looking forward to your next trip report. So entertaining plus a trip down memory lane for me.  I am going on HAL San Diego to YVR and then side by side on Grand Princess to Anchorage (May 6 is my 3 free hours in YVR between cruises).  Are you a Taurus or an Aries?

I’m a Taurus!  I will be on board the Jewel when you’re in Vancouver but I would have loved to have met you!!!

A few random photos from the Bliss

You can pay for a Behind the Scenes Tour through Shore Excursions. The paid tour includes the bridge and engine room while the free Latitudes tour does not.

Where was the quality control for these tomatoes? Surely there were ripe ones on board!

Cruise Critic friend and I were wondering why we didn’t get seats with our names on them for Six, but we aren’t the grandpas of the understudy.

This is the photo that got me in trouble on the behind the scenes tour.

Every day we were in port this team of window fixers was working on the Observation Lounge windows.

Oof - with the exception of crêpes (that I just wrote down day 5, Mazatlan, crêpes for when we sail the week after next) your day 5 was no bueno.  That dinner with the officers is BS.  The people who were there and didn't want to be, no planned conversation, the service .... that dinner should have been special.  Like you said - it's your upper tier guests who sail with you often and spend a lot of time and money with you; THEY should be treated like royalty!  Sorry ...

Did you get crepes on your cruise?  I hope so!
