Strange Harvest Caye question... sand toys?

We will be at Harvest Caye with many small children (14 to be exact!) and I know they'll want to build sand castles etc. My husband thinks they'll have pails and shovels etc on the beach but I think that's unlikely.

 

Do they have sand toys?  If not, can we purchase some there? I've packed everything else I'd really like to NOT pack sand toys!

No sand toys unless you bring them along. I can't remember if I seen them at the shops or not.

we asked for some extra plastic cups at the pool deck bar on board and brought a stack of those. Not exactly the same, but they were functional!

We were there not too long ago. No sign of toys on the beach. Best to bring your own.

That's a great idea @rjm11 - if I can't fit them in the suitcase that's exactly what I'll do!

We have collapsible sand buckets and have a variety of small shovels that we put into a mesh bag.  You can find the collapsible sand buckets on Amazon.

Go to Dollar Tree and pick up some cheap sand toys that you can pack to go, but leave behind when your kids are done playing.

 

Sucks to have to take them, but nice to not have to bring home.
