Bar Tab for Aussies

Thinking of a short Virgin Cruise and wondering about the $300 bar tab they are offering presently here for a less than 6 night cruise .. I cant find out if this is in ship currency - US $ or is it $300 AU , which of course means pretty much nothing with the drinks onboard in $US dollar prices and therefore almost double the price for us poor Aussies ? Any idea ? Ive tried contacting Virgin without success.

also it pays to check in which currency it makes sense to pre-order in ?  $AU (or in my case $CA) versus $US.  VV has a fixed rate of exchange for your 'home' currency, which depending on the day's exchange rate, may be arbitrage-able.  I was able to game for about 45$ upside.    Scott.
