hi all

this will be our first cruise but not through lack of trying

we got within 5 months of the Disney Magic in 2019 but it was a very rough year for me and my OH

so now we are both older,i turn 51 before we set sail next year and we dont have little people to worry about

this will be a cruise for just us to relax

any tips or help from anyone going would be grateful.

I am on this cruise too.  A few firsts for me, first solo cruise, first Saga cruise and first fjords cruise!  Looking forward to it very much.

Pack sun tan lotion and a pair of shorts. Pack a raincoat and woolly hat. You can get all kinds of weather and sometimes all in one day.

 

Breath taking scenery. Sit on the veranda at the stern and enjoy freshly cooked fish and chips.

I cannot agree more with the above!  We packed jumpers and macs for our cruise last year (31st Aug) but no sun tan lotion. We had amazing sunny weather, and no rain. I'm hoping we may be lucky again. 

 

Other thoughts ... Try different things onboard, like going to a lecture. Some are fascinating, others not so much, but you don't know until you try. Book any speciality restaurants as soon as possible after boarding.
