Pride of America check in & boarding

I completed my check in last night for the POA and was assigned a check in time of 1:30 pm.  However, we have to be out of hotel by 11 am; car service is picking us up at 11 am; I thought we would be at port by 11:30 am.  How strict is POA at enforcing their check in/boarding times?  If we arrive at port at 11:30, will we be able to proceed to check in?  What do we do in the meantime if we have to wait until 1:30?

We've sailed three times since NCL started using check in times and no one has ever verified our time.  I've heard similar reports from others on these boards.

You should be fine just going from your hotel to the port.

Have a great cruise!  The PpOA is the very best way to see Hawaii.

I’ve also arrived to the port just over an hour early on my POA cruise last year and was never asked about it. Have a great cruise!

Have a wonderful cruise!  We are planning our second POA cruise right now.
