Halibut, rockfish, cod, clams. Theobroma chocolate made in Sitka, fry bread at Klondike Doughboy in Skagway, fudge from Alaska Fudge Company, anything from Ketchikandies, smoked fish from the local fisherman who sets up in an alley next to the drug store in Sitka, devil's club salve for cuts, fresh berries in season. xlxo Posted April 28, 2023 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2023 (edited) Around Vancouver and Seattle... May and June is harvest season for spot prawn's. A bargain compared to dining elsewhere. go look for some locally harvested Geoduck. It looks like a big ****** if there's a group of 6 or 8 of you... check out Vancouver's premium Chinese Seafood restaurant where you can have King Crab Vancouver style. There's something about having an animal running across your table. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EBZEm92-0Hw&t=772s. Do not go there asking for boil 'n butter. Rare Gardyloo Posted April 28, 2023 #5 Share Posted April 28, 2023 (edited) If you're sailing from Vancouver (which you should be on Inside Passage trips) maybe the night before, head to Richmond (suburb near the airport) for the Night Market, the biggest (mainly) Asian night market in North America.
