ronheg Posted April 28, 2023 #1 Share Posted April 28, 2023 We are seasoned NCL cruisers. We’ve never been on an MSC cruise. Is it possible to eat anytime ( without a reservation) in the main dining room at a table for only 2 people.
cellfree Posted April 28, 2023 #2 Share Posted April 28, 2023 Only Aurea Experience are assigned “anytime dining” on MSC for dinner. For breakfast and lunch you can go to dining room and request a table for two. On recent MSC cruise we found they really pushed the “shared tables” but we always insisted on a table for two and were given one, although the table for two might be right beside another table for two! Brighton Line Posted April 28, 2023 #3 Share Posted April 28, 2023 Auera and Yacht Club have any time dining assigned. Yacht Club has their own restaurant but can eat in the MDR and that is their assigned time on the check-in documents.
CruisingFox27 Posted April 28, 2023 #4 Share Posted April 28, 2023 To eat at anytime you need to book the Aurea or Yacht Club level of experience. A few times when we've booked Aurea, we've been asked if we'd like to share a table, if a table for 2 wasn't immediately available but we've always said we'd wait for a table for 2.
