Best time to see the ships leave from Port Canaveral?

We are sailing out of Port Canaveral arriving the day early.  Planning on going to FishLips or Grills for dinner.  

Any idea what time is the best time to plan on getting to the area to get a table with a view to have dinner and watch the ships leave?

ships usually start leaving around 4:00pm and continue until sometimes about 5pm depending how many are leaving that day.

 

you can go to the Port Canaveral website and click on Cruise Schedule and it will list which ships are leaving and the approximate time.

current times can begin at 3:30 pm and go as late as 9 pm .....

 

varies by day but somewhat consistent from week to week with the 'regulars'

T W Thu are usually 'thin' and if the only ship is at T-3 you won't see anything from Fishlips (or any of the port side places)
