SeaThruU Posted May 20, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 20, 2023 Has anyone here done the Caribbean Countryside Train & Tortuguero Canal excursion offered from Puerto Limon, Costa Rica before? I’m trying to find out how much walking is involved and how rough the terrain is for my elderly mother-in-law. It looks like a really nice excursion. Rare Essiesmom Posted May 20, 2023 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2023 We did that tour and enjoyed it. Not a lot of walking. EM

Rare Essiesmom Posted May 21, 2023 #6 Share Posted May 21, 2023 The train ride was at the end of our tour, and instead of having to climb down out of the train and up into the bus back to the port, they had a ramp that made a level transit from train to bus. janice2348 Posted May 21, 2023 #8 Share Posted May 21, 2023 Carnival no longer offers it-at least on my cruise in March next year. Does anyone know of a private company that offers it?
