On Sept. 6, 2023, which would be the best kayak excursion?

1. Orca Cove

2. Eagle Island

3. Clover Pass Eco Tour

4. Another one I missed

We own a tandem and are accustomed to paddling together.  Our main goal is to see wildlife.  Thanks!

We did the Orca Cove and saw starfish and eagles.  Nice day on the water, but not much in the way of other wildlife.
Juneau, Homer and Seward have better luck with whales, sea lions, and otters.

Agree.  I just kayaked in Juneau and Ketchikan this week.  In Juneau, we saw eagles, a glacier and Orcas; in Ketchikan, saw eagles, starfish and harbor seals.

Do you remember which tour you booked or the outfitter's name?

I have done Southeast Kayak twice in Ketchikan and I highly recommend it. Did not see much wildlife other then eagles however they do take you a good distance away from Ketchikan and I trust them to get me back to the ship on time. Very professional operation.
