On this new ship, how can I tell if the sofa is by the window ?

It’s a connecting cabin, bed will be by bath.  Sofa by window.  EM

Just to give you a visual, I’ve attached a screen shot of part of Ascent deck 8, taken from the Ascent deck plans on the Celebrity website. Note the bump out on the left wall of cabin 8169. That is where the bed is located, near the bath. The sofa will be on the same wall, near the veranda. Great screen name, by the way.
