My first few vacations were in Bibione.

Some kind of game was going on up by the pool on my way down here. The roof is definitely closed because it has that splendor echo.

You can definitely peek over at the other balconies.

There is so much door slamming going on. I wonder if these are balcony doors slamming. I’ve never been on the outside.

The diamond event is going on in the restaurant.

I can hear Christine in there. She called it the platinum-diamond event and was quickly corrected by our very important diamond guests. I was going to turn diamond next year but decided to open up my bookings to all lines. I booked NCL for August which will push my diamond status back from 2024 to 2025 at least. And we’ll see. I was leaning RCL for the fall but haven’t booked anything yet. I’ll probably figure that out when I get back.

This is the same as it was last year. My most recent Carnival cruise was the Celebration in November, so unfortunately regarding news channels it's still just CBS News.

Lovely ship.  My favorite Carnival feature is poolside casual Mexican- it looks like they have it.  The early MDR dining hours- check.  Bits of possible dancing- check.  CEO aboard- good thing.  Having the ship earning money vs. parked- excellent.  

 

After a month in Spain recently- Uber is rare over there- there still are taxis.   The US hotel chains/apps are not a thing - use Hotels.com or Orbitz.  The BCN airport bus is a money saver.  Spanish lessons.  I had to laugh- the cruise line airline departments- who sell games of chance (day of cruise flights) vs. transportation - you did luck out.  🙂

To let you know where this is at…I came up the forward elevators to deck 11 and followed the starside hallway out to above the pool deck.

 

 

no I’m going port side. I like these windows you can open. This entire area is sort of inside with windows that open.

I haven’t seen any dogs on this ship and I don’t see any holes on this green so I’m trying to figure out what’s up.
