Just returned from an 8 night cruise to the Southern Caribbean on the Celebration and found your Venezia postings.  I have a lot of catching up to do, but I know I will enjoy following your travels!

In the Uber there’s a taxi option. It was 18 and the Uberx was 27. And taxi was faster so I went with it.

this was almost constantly the case for us last week. Only time I chose an Uber was when I got a comfort to take us to the pier because of our luggage. Cabs worked fine

I planned to take my own bag because it’s already damaged. Porters are right here to grab them. I said no thank you. But if you want to check it yourself just walk straight ahead and put it on the conveyor belt.

Security before check in here. Took three minutes from walking in the front door to walking out. It probably helps that everyone else is already on the ship…
