SugSug Posted May 26, 2023 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2023 We have an upcoming cruise on the Vista, booked cabin 9122 and was wondering if anyone has information on the balcony size. Just looking at the deck plans, it appears that balconies on the aft cabins from 9112 - 9132 on both the port and starboard sides are larger then on the rest of the deck. Maybe it’s just an optical illusion??
Rare LHT28 Posted May 27, 2023 #2 Share Posted May 27, 2023 Looks like it is one of the extended balconies Hopefully when more cruisers sail on Vista you will get a concrete answer
Rare mauibabes Posted May 28, 2023 #3 Share Posted May 28, 2023 We were on Vista last week but did not personally see any of the Deck 9 rooms but agree they are the extended balcony rooms. We have an October sailing on Vista and up on Deck 11 and have a similar expanded balcony. I discussed it at length with my O Rep when we booked the trip ensuring it was what it looked like on the Deck Plan. Just Enjoy, Mauibabes
Rare steamboats Posted May 29, 2023 #4 Share Posted May 29, 2023 Yes, there are cabins to the front and aft which have larger balconies than those cabins in the middle. Anyway, although there is enough space for a lounger you will only find a chair and table on those balconies. Those larger balconies are not limited to deck 9. You can see the size of the balcony here. Although 9130 is a Concierge Solo Stateroom the balcony has the same depth as the regular cabins. You can see only one chair as it´s a solo cabin. steamboats

Rare mauibabes Posted December 20, 2023 #9 Share Posted December 20, 2023 The. Veranda staterooms are mostly all the same size, A or B Veranda, 290 sq. ft. If you get one with the extended balcony it will be larger than the normal Veranda sq. ft. Which is approx. 50 sq. ft. Whatever the ship, I know you were focused on the Concierge Staterooms, but as an FYI, a PH is 50% larger than a Veranda stateroom on any of the ships. A Veranda stateroom interior wise is approximately 240 sq. ft., even the French Veranda which does not have that approximate 50 sq. ft. Balcony. They are a very good size for a balcony stateroom compared to most other cruise line. Just go and enjoy whatever cruise you take. Mauibabes. We were just on Vista this month. If you look at the deck plans, you'll see A1 staterooms on Deck 9 have extended balconies (6 are in the front of the ship and 16 are aft). On Deck 10, some aft A1 staterooms have extended balconies but the midship A1 balconies are not extended. There are six A1 staterooms on Deck 11 and none have extended balconies.
