Signature Event at Sea on the Wonder

Recommended Posts

We got an email invite today from Casino Royale for the Signature Event at Sea on the Wonder with 3 dates to choose from.  Of course we called right away and booked it for the Oct 15 sailing since we have wanted to go on the Wonder.  Has anyone done a Signature Event cruise?  If so how was it?  I'll post a pic of it below.

When I called, the person I spoke with informed me the perfect day at CocoCay was just a regular day at CocoCay. She did inform me both guest in the cabin are invited to the welcome party and the dinner.

That seems odd. Why add it to the list if we aren’t getting anything special at CoCoCay? Did they say which specialty restaurant the dinner was in? I am booked on free cruise Oct 8, which is not one of the signature dates,  and trying to decide if this Signature cruise is worth switching to or doing a b2b. I am hoping maybe tomorrow after the Holiday someone at RCCL has more info.

We were on the Signature cruise last year on Symphony.  Haven't received the invitation yet for this year. There was a reception with drinks and bites in the Solarium where they gave us each two really sumptuous beach towels. The specialty dinner was served in the Solarium over three different evenings since all Signatures were on one sailing. At Coco Cay we were given free water park passes.

Thanks. We just got the beach towels last week on Wonder. We don’t do the water park either. Looks like maybe I’ll skip the signature event unless you think giveaways in the casino were worth it. I wish this event was on Symphony.

Thanks for the information!  I forgot to ask for specifics until after we had ended the call, lol.  It was great timing getting the offer my mom keeps looking for a good offer for the Wonder and us too.  Hubby and I each had the offer so booked him in a room then mom and I and I will move to his room once onboard.  They said we can add a second guest to his room if my mom ends up having a friend go.  I think the only other event type of cruise on Royal we have done or had an offer for was a Beer Cruise in 2019 on the Allure.

I can't remember anything in the casino except the special slot tournament. The towels are not the regular ones and the gift may be different this year. It is a good idea to break it up into three different dates as last year there were sooooo many in attendance.

Was the invite to everyone who'd made Signature level during a specific time period? I'd imagined that would be a high number of casino players so 3 dates on Wonder OTS is needed to spread out the invitees.

Yes, it was one sailing for all Signatures last year.  Way too crowded.
