Taxi to Cane Beach

Thinking of taking a taxi to Cane Beach for a few hours, has anyone done this?  What is the cost of the taxi per person?  Are the taxis open air with multiple people in them like they have in St Thomas?  How far is the beach from the port?  Is it easy to get a taxi back to the port from the beach?  Thank you for any info provided!

Shared safari taxi to Cane Garden Bay or Brewers Bay is ~$12/pp each way. 25 minute ride over steep and winding roads, taxis return to pick you up. 
 

CGB will be the busiest beach because there are multiple food and rental options. Brewers will be a much less busy vibe with one beach bar and few amenities…

just back taxi is $25 for 2 each way, bumpy ride, nice beach.
