Two "Getaway" questions

2 quickies. We have not sailed Getaway since 2017!

 

1.

Does Ocean Blue still serve lunch via the take out window on the Waterfront? Hubs has tons memories of lobster rolls and some other tasty nuggets.

 

2. We are on a European cruise and noticed no comedy on the entertainment page. Do they perform

 comedy shows in the main theater or are there no comedians? I know that they had comedy shows in the main theater  on Epic the few times we sailed her in Europe.

there is comedy onboard the ship, only bookable onboard the ship. it is in comedy club on deck 6

Yes to takeout window. And yes, they do comedy in headliners.

As to the question of comedy shows.  Did a behind the scenes tour recently and the lady from the stage part told us that European cruises may not have comedians due to the high number of non-english speaking passengers onboard, depending on the itinerary.  So they will contract with entertainers where language isn't an integral part of the performance.  We had Tango dancers in Argentina for example.
