Celebrity Silhouette cabin 1075, noisy?

Hello, 

 

I am looking to book a cruise on Celebrity Silhouette and I got stuck with the decision of which cabin to choose :D. I heard that hump cabins are nice because they have a bigger balcony, but I noticed that cabin #1075 on deck 10 is next to the elevator, Has anyone cruised before in that cabin and could share if was it noisy and if the balcony does not have any view blockers?

There is post in the spreadsheet re 1075., The person liked the cabin but hated their neighbours who were extremely noisy most nights and had their TV loud to hide their arguing.

We've been in 1075 on sister ship Equinox. Perfect cabin with huge balcony. Elevators are around the corner and have no effect at all.

As respects being near the elevator, that's our favorite spot to be.  Never had any noise issue due to elevator location.

Spent ten nights in 1075 on board Equinox (same location as Silhouette.)

Zero noise issues.  The elevators are not noisy.  They are in their own separate lobby.  1075 is not literally adjacent to the elevators even though the deck plans make it seem like it is right by them.  Loved 1075’s convenient location in relation to the elevators.  Huge verandah.
