Cruising with CPAP

We're booked on the Carnival Pride for a 9 day European Cruise in September.  I need to use a CPAP when I sleep.  Does anybody know if CCL stocks distilled water?  Has anybody had any problems bringing a CPAP with them to Europe and aboard a ship.  Any advice or tips?

Thanks in Advance

I've used a CPAP for over 15 years and plenty of cruises. The tap water on the ship is just fine (in some cases depending on treatment, it can be on par with distilled water), I've never had an issue with it. Yes, Carnival has distilled water for a fee. I've seen different prices reported but since I don't use it I'm not sure of the current cost. I figure, why pay for something that most of which will end up being poured down the drain at the end of the trip. I'm not dragging it home.

JMHO/YMMV

How about just taking a small bottle of distilled water with you onto the ship?  Shouldn't be a problem, and I imagine a small bottle would get you through the 9 days.

Carnival does not allow you to bring water on board.

Really?  That seems absurd, but maybe it's to keep people from smuggling bottles of vodka, gin, or blanco tequila onboard?

Quoted from Carnival's website on Nov. 2, 2023:

"Carnival carries distilled water which can be purchased either pre-cruise if you are sailing from a US port, or once on board. For pre-purchase, please contact our Fun Shops department at 1-800-522-7648 ext. 70039, Monday-Sunday from 9:00am-9:00pm ET. For purchase on board, please contact Room Service. Should you wish to bring your own distilled water with you, it must be hand-carried along with your CPAP machine."

I guess I should be happy that I sail Royal.  3 days before embarkation, Royal sends me an email asking about special needs.  I let them know I need distilled water and an extension cord for my CPAP.  Most of the time it's already in my cabin when I arrive.  No charge.
