Tips thru Venmo or Cash App??

Was just discussing tipping on board with my DH. Not that we plan on doing this, but do you think any of the cabin stewards, butlers accept online tips? When I go to my hair salon, all the stylists have Venmo QR codes on their cards. It's such an accepted thing nowadays, just wondering if anyone's heard of being used on a cruise ship.

Online tips would go direct to a bank account and most crew send wages home via the bank account what they get in cash is for them to decide, we always tip cash as the preferred method
