Tour guide from Civitavecchia to Rome

Any recommendations of a guide that will pick you up at the port and give you a guided tour of Rome for the day and then return to port? Lots of tours from port but drivers are not guides for different attractions. Would prefer a combination driver/guide for 3 people. 
Would I be better off if we took transfer from port to Rome and then hire a guide for Rome attractions?

No such animal in Italy.  Drivers and guides are two different, licensed professions.  Even if one person happens to hold both licenses, they cannot legally employ them simultaneously.  You'd have to hire two people.

This is what I have done in the past, if I want a guide for something specific.
