Veranda Dividers on Rotterdam - can they be opened all the way

Can anyone tell me if the dividers between the veranda rooms on the Rotterdam open all the way?  I heard they do which would be great because we will be cruising with my sister in law and brother in law and their spouses in cabins next to each other so we are really hoping they open all the way to make one larger veranda. We will be on the 6th deck in the mid section.   In January we had family members next to each other on the Nieuw Statendam and only a small section of the dividers opened.....not all the way.  Any information will be much appreciated!!!  And if anyone has pics of the dividers opened it would be wonderful!

Welcome to Cruise Critic @genie1953a!  They only open part way as well.  Enough to pass through but not enough to create a full veranda depth opening.  I'll look for a picture...........stay tuned!

These are on the Rotterdam deck 4 larger depth balconies port side aft, but all of them are the same.  You can see that only the outer door part can open (about 2 feet wide).  The main dividing wall is not moveable.

If you want the largest family sized veranda, the aft corner Neptune Suites look huge!!!

This is from Nieuw Statendam, but Rotterdam should be about the same.

Thanks so much for the pic!  That is what they were like on the Nieuw Statendam too.  We will adapt!  Lol!

How about on the Konigsdam?  Do the dividers open up on the verandas?

Yes, only the small door section though.  They are the same as Rotterdam.  See post #3
