Question re Voyagers Club Points

I status matched before my first MSC cruise last year to gold level. I took 2 cruises and accrued additional 3900 points. My current total is 6800 points.My question is: how many points do you start out with at gold?

Thanks thats what I was looking for. So it seems I should have 8200 not 6800.

NB it can still be worth matching even to Classic. By doing so, I qualified for a substantial early booking discount.

If you feel your points are wrong, you will need to email MSCVoyagersClub@msccruisesusa.com to ask them to review and correct it. Customer service cannot help and will just give you the email. 

 

You will need to include your full name, phone number, email address, and VC Number. Along with the booking numbers, ships, and dates of the cruises you should have credit for.

 

It can take them several weeks to review. I had to email them because I didn't get credit for one of our cruises. Then I had to send a follow up email with the case number after a month. Then they finished up within a week.
