Booking flights for kids ?

We're taking extended family on a May 2024 cruise out of MIA.

 

Most all of us will be flying from LAX-MIA via ATL on DL. 

Looking at a long connection time in ATL (21/2- 3hrs). Daughter (not going with us) will

meet us at ATL so we can take the two grandkids (under 12) with us.

 

Question is will I have any trouble booking their air since on their roundtrip it'll be just two kids?

Just call the airline to make the reservations and explain.

That will also allow the airline to link the reservations and give seat assignments together, etc.

What are the ages of the children?

If both parents of the children will not be accompanying them when crossing borders, you should get the paperwork permissions signed and notarized by any parent who will not be present.  You may be asked for this when showing up to board the cruise.

The grandkids are 8 & 11. Both daughter and son-in-law can't make it to this cruise and so the reason we're taking the kids with us and the rest of the family.

 

Yes...I have printed the RCI form for both of them and will get it notarized when we visit them in October after our NE/Canada cruise.
