My port arrival time says 9:30 in Civitavecchia--will we board that early??!! (NCL)

I was stunned to see such an early check in time, I've never seen that before!

We are on the NCL Breakaway in August.

Has anyone had personal experience sailing NCL from hear & what we can expect.

I would be asking this on the NCL board, as it is a policy and procedure issue for them.

 

But no, I doubt you will be boarding that early.

Is this an NCL transfer to the port?  I'm trying to figure out any other way you would have a port arrival time.

 

I'm afraid you are looking at hours of cooling your heels at the terminal before boarding the ship.

When I checked it, it gave me checkin times to choose.

I chose earliest as that is what I have always done...

Well then, as I said, you'll wind up hanging around for a few hours until they're ready to board people.  If they take your luggage you could go for a walk into town, there are free shuttles to the port exits and it's a short walk from there.
