C & A Coupon Book-Monarch Diamond

Recommended Posts

I'm going from memory here, but my recollection is that on our 3-nighter, we got 20% off a spa treatment, one free coffee from Lattetudes and one free scoop of Ben & Jerry's, one free house brand drink, glass of wine or beer, one free photo, a bunch of $12 for $10 casino coupons, some $5 table play coupons, 10% off one logo item, and a buy one bottle of wine, get the second for 15% off.

I can't remember if that's different from the 7 night & longer cruises.

What about the internet coupons? Are they in the booklet?

Thanks for this thread; you must have been reading my mind!!

I'm really impressed, by the way, with what I've been reading about the Monarch cruises. The 4-night cruise even has the same C&A parties, etc. that you get on a 7-night cruise.

And, I've been reading lots and lots of good stuff about the ship, too!

Our family loves the Monarch. Great ship and crew. Easy to meet new people and the production shows are 1st Rate.

Going on Monday with DS for Spring Break. It will be our first time as Plat. members and I am looking forward to the party.

Quest is over the top with "Moe" but our team won the Gold Medal in Feb. DS is 16 and will not be attending.

I am missing a few things but I do know that the diamond gets more things

A very good booklet and nice job by the crown and anchor society

Yes, you do, I knew I was forgetting something! It was 20 free minutes, I think. Monarch does a wonderful job - on the 3-night cruise they don't have a C&A party, but they do have the Captain's Gala on formal night, and they have a very nice platinum/diamond event as well. It used to be cocktails on Ensenada day at about 4:30, but I've read that they changed it to 11:30 on a sea day. So I guess I'll be switching from martinis to Bloody Mary.:D

Only 12 days....til cruise. The Plat/Diam party is on Ensenada day on the 4 day as we do not have a sea day...I hear it is at 4:30pm on Thursday.

I too have read a lot of good things about the Monarch, we are all getting excited to go...

Not partie(s), pcur (grin:) There is a captain's gala and a very, very nice platinum/diamond party about 5PM after Catalina. One of the nicest we have been to, with very good food including deviled eggs with caviar. I love deviled eggs (caviar, not so much)! A guitar player, wonderful hot food. A few announcements and a nice sailaway in the Viking Crown. The LA on Monarch, Danny is the nicest fellow! There is no repeaters party on the Monarch sailings because they are less than 7 days. :)

Edit, maybe the scheduling has changed or is different in the winter. On our last 2 sailings Oct. 04/July 05, it was on Wednesday afternoon.

Danney League, the C&A Loyalty Ambassador, is on vacation for the next couple of months. Chris is taking his place is also wonderful. We enjoyed the P/D event Sunday late morning for the 3 day and Leaving Ensenada on the 4 day, starting at 4:30 PM. Both parties were very well done, with Warner Zurcher, the head of F & B taking care of the food and drink.
