Flight Ease question/CDG transfer

I am going on a HAL cruise next month and found what I thought to be a decent business class fare on Flight Ease so I booked it. I fly on Air France from YYZ-CDG-VCE (cruise departing from Trieste). Currently, I would be arriving in VCE 24 hours before my cruise departs.

My connection time at CDG is 2h50m and originally, I didn't think much of it. But I have heard too many horror stories about connecting there and now I'm wishing I'd given myself more time. If anything were to go wrong, such as a flight delay in YYZ, there is a good chance I might not make it.

My question is, since I booked with Flight Ease, would they be solely responsible for arranging another flight if I missed my connection, or would Air France put me on the next available flight despite me not booking directly with them? Also, does anyone know if there is a fast track option thru security checkpoints for connecting biz class passengers? Also one more question: does anyone know what gate (K, L, or M) at terminal 2E AF flights generally arrive at from NA?

Almost three hours should be plenty of time for transfer - even for CDG terminal 2. If you lose your connection in CDG, Air France will make sure you get to VCE - you will already be re-routed by Air France when you land.

Air France is responsible for getting you to your destination as soon as possible if you misconnect.

Are you arriving at CDG on AF357 at 1235, and continuing on AF1226 at 1525? If so, I really wouldn't stress about this. 2:50 is heaps of time (I think that the official Minimum Connection Time for your connection is 1:00), and almost every day there are two more CDG-VCE flights after 1525, let alone the ones early the next morning that should still comfortably get you to your cruise.

Thanks for the replies. @Globaliser as a matter of fact, those are my exact flights. Yes, I believe there are around 6 flights per day from CDG to VCE so even if the worst case scenario happened there would be plenty of other options to get to the cruise port in time. What I wasn't sure about was if Air France would assist me in that regard if I didn't book directly with them, which you both have assured me they will.
