Welcome Aboard Lunch for Concierge Guests on Edge

Sailing on Edge in a concierge cabin and Note reads you need to book an early check in time before you board. Is 1pm ok as this was the earliest available when I checked in online.

Where is this lunch held and what is the protocol?

The lunch will be in 1 of the 4 MDRs , you should have info in your cabin when you board or just ask at any of the 4 MDRs.

 

We were in Concierge a couple of months ago and the lunch was from 12 - 1:30.  You should be able to make it if you go to the lunch as soon as you board.  Also keep checking on the app as sometimes there are some earlier boarding times open up.

I had embarkation lunch (not on edge class though) last month and the time was noon to 1 pm. They closed the doors for entry at 1 pm, but anyone already seated could order past 1 pm.

Has anyone been successful in getting check in time changed so that you don't miss this lunch?

Unless things have changed, you really wouldn't be missing much. It's nice to have a sit down place versus the buffet, but the menu is pretty limited.
