Machta Posted July 22, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 22, 2023 Good day, all! We're sailing on the Rotterdam in 3 weeks out of Amsterdam. Since the first sea day is a Sunday, we were thinking we might like to try and stream our church service when they broadcast it live. Two questions: is the wifi capable of streaming? And are the TVs on the Rotterdam capable of showing content from my iPad or iPhone, such as via Apple TV or something similar? Thanks for your thoughts! crystalspin Posted July 22, 2023 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2023 Yes and no. If you have Premium Internet, audio and video are supported. There are no accessible ports on the cabin TV.
oakridger Posted July 23, 2023 #3 Share Posted July 23, 2023 There may be a Catholic Mass and Interdenominational service onboard on Sundays. Depending on you affiliation, one of those might also be an option. It will be listed in your daily program if they offer it. ~Nancy
mikebsxm Posted July 23, 2023 #4 Share Posted July 23, 2023 You cannot access YouTube on the cabin TVs which would be necessary to access your church's livestream. You could access YouTube on a laptop, tablet or phone, providing you have the premium wifi. There are no available HDMI ports on the TVs to plug in your device. And there's no way to "cast" your device to the tv.
