GMoney Posted March 25, 2006 Author #126 Share Posted March 25, 2006 Stateroom: We had a superior verandah suite, it was nice (best bed we have ever had on a cruise) but small and could use more sound proofing. Comparible suites on Princess as an example are much more spacious and private. Great point about the soundproofing; I had forgotten this. I was very surprised when I could clearly and plainly hear people talking as they passed in the hall on multiple occasions. I had never experienced this on a cruiseship before. So I just turned the TV up louder. :)
Rare Copper10-8 Posted March 25, 2006 #127 Share Posted March 25, 2006 In my heart of hearts, I believe it's Host Doug. :D I'm sure Doug's laughing at that one;) Maybe it's Inspector Clouseau: Clouseau: Do you have a REUM? Inn Keeper: I do not know what a REUM iz! Clouseau: Zimma Inn Keeper: Ahhh.. a RRRUUUMMM! Clouseau: That is what I have been saying you idiot! REUM! HeatherInFlorida Posted March 25, 2006 #128 Share Posted March 25, 2006 One of my all time favorites ... Inspector Clouseau. I miss him. Reading that ... I could actually see him for a minute:p . Sail, you put the item in the ziploc bag (I'm talking food item, but it can also be packed clothing for your cruise). You insert a drinking straw into the bag and zip the bag to the straw. You suck the air out of the bag through the straw and quickly pull out the straw and zip the bag shut. It's like a vacuum seal ... I've been doing it for years!:) Sorry, everyone ... OT again, but Sail asks and I respond:D
