TW6cruiser Posted July 30, 2023 #1 Share Posted July 30, 2023 I noticed for our upcoming cruise that the port guides are available on the app to download, which we did. Are paper copies still available on the ship?
Buckeye10640 Posted July 30, 2023 #2 Share Posted July 30, 2023 I have not seen any recently, but I also did not go searching for them.

Are paper copies still available on the ship? Ask at the Shore Excursions desk. Some still have them.
MissP22 Posted July 30, 2023 #4 Share Posted July 30, 2023 I believe they're counting on people using their phones to bring up any guides.
Stokie33 Posted July 30, 2023 #5 Share Posted July 30, 2023 On Sky in June we noticed people getting them from guest services
LibertyBella Posted July 30, 2023 #6 Share Posted July 30, 2023 Just got off Enchanted and yes, they were available at Guest Services, but not really discussed on the Patter or shared broadly. They were the same little maps with highlights marked and briefly described. We took them, but as we were on tours most days, did not need them. Not sure if they were handed out as well at the port talks, as we were never able to make any of them. My philosophy is if I do not have shore excursions booked at least four to eight months in advance, then I am behind the curve!
JG&Lcruisingnewbies Posted July 30, 2023 #7 Share Posted July 30, 2023 Thanks for this. On the back of this thread I’ve just downloaded all the port guides now for our Norway Cruise 😃 Did try to download the Southampton (London) port guide but wouldn’t load 🤷♀️ it was just out of curiosity to see how Princess cover 2 places I’m very familiar with tbh (I’m from UK) Princess telling me ‘you live 30 min outside central London, don’t be silly’ 😂
kiwimum Posted July 30, 2023 #8 Share Posted July 30, 2023 Has anyone been able to actually print the port guides after downloading from the App.
seeyouinthesun Posted July 30, 2023 #9 Share Posted July 30, 2023 Please note that the port guides on the app are very old and may not have the correct Port Agent listed. This is a serious safety issue that Princess will not acknowledge.
MustangGT Posted July 30, 2023 #10 Share Posted July 30, 2023 Just off Island Princess and port guides were only available on the app and we had no way to print them😕

The Southampton guide is all about London and Windsor…not really Southampton. I looked as we are sailing out of Southampton to Norway soon.
