MSC Seashore Yacht Club

I sailed MSC before and enjoyed it.  This time booked Yacht Club for a short 4-day cruise to give it a try.  Any and all helpful hints would be appreciated.  We talked another couple into sailing with us.  They were not keen on trying MSC.  They had read many negative comments.  We assured them the Yacht Club would be first class.  We are sailing on 6/2/2024.  The original cruise we booked was in May, but that was canceled.  They switched us to the June cruise and moved our cabins.  On the canceled cruise, we were only one cabin down from them.  However, now they are on a totally different floor. Also, now afraid our little 4-day cruise will be overrun with kids.  So, they are now questioning their decision to sail with us on MSC.  So, any helpful suggestions we can use to assure them it was not a mistake will be very welcome.

Although there will probably be some kids in the Yacht Club, the percentage of kids will be lower compared to general population. Usually (not always), children sailing in the Yacht Club are better behaved than children throughout the rest of the ship.

As for being on a different deck, you won't be more than a minute away using either the stairs or the exclusive "within the complex" elevator.

On the sundeck, there are 2 hot tubs and kids are far more likely to use the one in the front instead of the one on the side.

Your cruise will be fine. You'll probably wish that it was longer.

"The phrase “you can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make it drink” is a proverb that means you can provide someone with a nice opportunity, but you can’t make them take it if they don’t want to." Sounds to me like you just might have a better time without them.
