Boiler Cruiser Posted August 5, 2023 #1 Share Posted August 5, 2023 I have noticed that the itineraries of our upcoming cruises on Princess include 2 day (overnight) port calls. I have noticed that there is an opportunity to sign up for excursions on the first day in port. There are, however, no excursion sign-ups available for the second day. And the ship does not leave until the evening of the second day. Does that mean that there are only excursions for the first of the 2 days? Do excursion sign-up opportunities for the second day come later? What can I expect in a situation like this? Thanks.
Rare Rick&Jeannie Posted August 5, 2023 #2 Share Posted August 5, 2023 It might help to get an answer if you shared the date/itinerary so that others can see what's going on.

For example, when we took a recent cruise to Hawaii, we were in Honolulu for an overnight. When initially signing up for excursions, we could only sign up for excursions on the first day. None were available for the second day. Then, about 6 weeks before the cruise, excursions for the second day were made available. Is this how it always works?

I think they see if they can fill day 1 excursions, before they open even more on Day 2, in some areas of the world. If you want Day 2, I’d recheck it closer to sailing about 4-6 months out. But, I would also book day 1, and then cancel, if you can change It later. JMO
