Stand-up Comedians

I need some help.

Ive looked online for a schedule of stand-up comedians that will be on NCL sailings but I cant find one. In particular Im looking for the Breakaway sailing from Rome Nov 2nd-12th 2023.

I’m not aware of there having been any comedians on the Breakaway recently.

I don't recall seeing such a listing in the past.

 

You can look up the 'live' threads, but the comedians often are on short contracts.

You won't find one - NCL might not even know at this point.

Plus they don't tend to book comedians on cruises where they expect large number of non-english speaking passengers. So there might not be one.

We are on 16 night out of Southampton in Europe and there are no comedians onboard.

i think the issue is that comedy doesn’t tend to travel well, and what one country finds funny isn’t always the same for other nationalities.

Seems they look to avoid comedy when sailing outside of home markets for that reason.

Well thank you all the replies. One thing that attracted us to this sailing was the opportunity to embrace other cultures, and I guess this is one of the cultural differences. Let the adventure begin!!

If you're from California, any trip you take will include a "cultural difference".  You guys live in a world the rest of us don't understand. 😄
