Are both pools open on the fall TA or just the lido?

Both open, TA is warm..

and with all Holland America Line ships, the mid-ship lido pool has a retractable roof that allows the pool (and the lido deck) to be used no matter the weather.....

 

......We learned this the hard way on a Princess Sky TA....no retractable roof and therefore the area is useless during inclement weather.

Both.   Sailed the Oct '22 Rotterdam TA and both were well used.

Yes a TransAtlantic crossing can be surprisingly warm, however, a TransPacific crossing through the Bering Sea, not so much :)

Highly recommend the Southern TA instead US West Coast to Australia.  Both pools get a workout when you aren't on a great beach somewhere!
