My favorite is Travelgum which I buy in Italy. You chew the gum and the med is absorbed sublingually. It works virtually instantaneously,  Dimenhydrinate is the active ingredient and the actual dosage is very small.

I stop chewing as soon as it is effective. My husband was appalled but I wrapped the gum in plastic wrap in case I needed it later.

A Brit slang for being sick is to chunder.

It comes a Royal Navy term from several hundred years ago when a fellow was being sick overboard.

Wooden warships in those days were open-sided things so when a chap was having a good old hurl and the wind would catch the vomit he'd shout out to the decks below " watch out under "

A useless piece of information I admit but you'll think of it next time you're puce-faced and staring at the toilet bowl.

Mark my words.

CHUNDER !

😅😉

It's not useless if it's funny or interesting in my opinion! 🙂

I take Bonine.

Bonine is the brand name of  Meclizine Hydrochloride     Dramamine LESS drowsy is also Meclizine Hydrochloride     Meclizine Hydrochloride affects stomach directly.

Dramamine Regular is dimehdrinate and works on the central nervous system.  I personally avoid it because it knocks me out like Benadryl.

The medicine is meclizine and the cheapest place to get it is Walmart.  They have two kinds so make sure to pick meclizine.  The other kind works but makes you much more drowsy and you have to take it more often.

I prefer the chewable Bonine, even though they are way more expensive than the generic (meclizine).
