Maybe this has changed it would be nice to watch download programs from our devices. thanks

TNcruiser1964 Posted October 6, 2023 #5 Share Posted October 6, 2023 Yes. I used iPad. Download movies and shows. Lightning/HDMI adapter and HDMI cable. Tight squeeze but plugged HDMI into side of tv and changed the input on remote. Streamed some too.

gtaylor Posted October 10, 2023 #8 Share Posted October 10, 2023 I was mostly successful on the Seascape last month. YC1 with a Samsung 50" (that's a guess) wall mounted set. Very tight to get behind there, but I've attached a camera shot. Two USB inputs and three HDMI. I had an 18" USB extender cable that was very stiff, and was able to get it into the top USB port. My HDMI cable was pretty floppy and I just couldn't get it lined up and pushed into the port. The USB worked fine, and I have no reason to think the HDMI wouldn't have worked, had I been able to connect. There's a key on the remote for 'Source' and it displayed all the ports to select from. I tried both a standard 128GB thumb drive and a USB powered WD Elements 5 TB drive. No problem navigating the file structure on either device, and almost every video format I tried played. I'm pretty sure that included avi, mpg, mov and flv. WMV started and then froze.
