Westerdam in Juneau on October 3, 2023

This is the last BHB in Juneau for this year…It’s been a great season!

 

ms Westerdam will be at CT dock from 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm, and she is on a 13 day North Pacific Crossing

It seems that Koningsdam is still in Juneau at FKL dock...She should have left last night at 10:00 pm Alaska time zone......Does anyone on board know what is happening?

I checked the roll call and someone posted on Sunday that Skagway, which is where they are supposed to be today, was canceled due to weather.

Well, I had a boo at the Roll Call, and seems that the captain cancelled Skagway due to weather and it's impact on tendering.

On Koningsdam now, all aboard scheduled at 7:30pm tonight. Confirm per Capt. Kan we were scheduled for tendering and weather too rough. Also left Vancouver 2-1/2hrs late waiting for charts, so it might have been anticipated.

Just a heads-up. I know you know Zaandam is in PEV/FLL Saturday the 7 Oct - but did you also notice she will be stopping in Port Canaveral the day before - Friday the 6th? [8 am - 5 pm]

Dreary day in Juneau for those on K'dam who missed Skagway and those arriving on Westy. I'll miss this last sail-in - MLB playoffs start in a few minutes. See you next April - or in PEV/FLL.

Looks like she's coming in nose first.  Don't think there will be any aft shots....

She always docks - bow forward and usually there is another ship at AS - blocking most of the view.
