Mazatlan cliff divers worth a visit?

Can you walk from cruise port to watch the cliff divers?  Is it safe walk?  Is it even worth visiting?  Better options for our day in port?

Hire a plumeria (a supped up golf cart type vehicle). Tell the driver you want to see the sights and he’ll take you there and other places.

It is walkable, but I’d probably take a pulmonia.  It isn’t really worthwhile, but it is safe.

would agree to take a pulmonia.  in my mind it would not v]be worth the walk, but as a short stop on a pulmonia ride sure.  i didn't find the cliff divers too exciting or at all thrilling at least it was a far cry from the ones in Acapulco

I agree. Do a tour that stops there and it’s nice to see. Nothing like the Acapulco divers. If you ever get to Acapulco it is worth seeing the divers. I was really moved by the experience. Mazatlan’s is fun for a short visit.

Is there anything else to see in the area (while walking around)?

 

Is it easy to get a pulmonia back to the ship if you are dropped off in that area?

 

How much do the pulmonia's cost?
