miisa Posted October 20, 2023 #1 Share Posted October 20, 2023 Will this be doable as the ship arrives at 7:00 am. and NCL said you can plan flights as of 11:30 am. Has anyone ever done it and is it best to do walk off or ship transfers.

Has anyone ever done it and is it best to do walk off or ship transfers. It's like 45 minutes without any traffic door to door to MCO from Cape Canaveral. Just because the ship is scheduled to arrive at 7 doesn't necessarily mean thats when you can immediately go ashore-- it will have to clear formalities first. If NCL will let you book a transfer with an 11:30 flight (and will stand by it in case something does go wrong) by all means do it-- peace of mind and let them tell you when and where to go. If not I would self disembark with my luggage at your earliest possible time. If you were ashore and in a car by 8/830 you will be to the airport at or just after 9am and should have plenty of time for 11:30. Keep in mind MCO is generally a nightmare if you don't have TSA Pre with all the kids going through security so it takes a little bit longer than a usual airport at peak times.
Elaine5715 Posted October 21, 2023 #3 Share Posted October 21, 2023 You will need TSA precheck and priority airline checkin. MCO is terrible with waits for luggage drop and security due to the families returning from a Disney trip
