Self-service laundry

Hi, folks.

I've done three Princess cruises in the past. Each was a seven-day itinerary, so laundry was not an issue.

I have a back-to-back on the Caribbean Princess starting January 21.

What method/s of payment are accepted at the laundry.

Thanks in advance.

You just need your medallion to buy tokens from the machine in the laundry room to be used in the washers and dryers. It will then be added to your account. The token machines don't always seem to be working, so it's a good idea to go get your tokens before you actually want to do your laundry....just in case....

Pro tip:  Bring along some Tide pods (or equivalent) and dryer sheets from home and then you don't need to worry about buying detergent/fabric softener.

Yes.  And if you are packing as light as possible, you can purchase washing sheets which are as thin as drying sheets.

On Caribbean in April/May, the token machines were VERY iffy.

I sailed on CB in March and ran into a broken token dispenser on my deck, but just went up a deck and found one in working condition.
