ccbee Posted February 11 #26 Share Posted February 11 You do realize the prices shown on the site are Canadian Dollars. Considerably less in USD.

There are lots of taxis at the Vancouver airport that will take you right to the Pan Pacific. And the Pan Pacific is literally attached to the cruise port. No transportation is needed. You walk down the corridor from the hotel to the port terminal.

We decided to book at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport hotel which is attached to the airport so we can walk off the plane and into the hotel without additional shuffling around after traveling all day. It is still expensive but $500 less than the Pan Pacific. It is a little more expensive then other airport hotels that provide free shuttles but we like the convenience. Then we are taking the cruise line transfer from the airport to the pier in the morning. You can also use the skytrain, taxi or uber to the pier. I hope this helps! We choose the airport Fairmont the night before we fly home, especially since our flight is at 7:00 AM

We had a great room high floor overlooking the harbor. We are also staying at the Pinnacle, did you walk to the port and if so how was it? It looks like any easy walk on Google maps but sometimes it differs in person.

Wide, nicely paved sidewalks and relatively flat (very slight downhill towards the water). It might get somewhat congested pedestrian-wide the block before Canada Place (and the Convention Centre West) but not excessively.

As Milhouse stated it is walkable, and we walked down the day before and scouted it out, but since we had large pieces of luggage, we arranged for a ride to drop us off at the baggage check in.
