Zuiderdam cabin 8033–recommendation rescinded!

Since posting a recommendation for this cabin, noise issues have developed that we are currently being told will not be resolved for the remaining (44) days of our current cruise. Definitely impacts enjoyment of the room as well as the balcony. Apologies for recommending!

It sounds like the issue only recently developed while on your cruise and, although lengthy in its resolution, it is being addressed.  If this is a singular situation I'm not sure that would be a bad stateroom to recommend as the noise issue would seem unlikely to repeat.

Hard telling if it will get resolved. I simply did not want to be associated with a recommendation that I made since the ship has declined to repair,

Understood.  It just sounded like a one time issue that would be resolved. But it looks like that resolution may not come until after the completion of the cruise.  Sorry for your issues.

SO HAPPY to report that after one long week, the noise issue was resolved today! We are back to thinking 8033, Zuiderdam, is a great room!!
