Hi everyone we have just come back from our first cruise onboard Iona to the med and are now looking to book another in April 2025 going to France Italy and Spain. We are really interested in this trip I would like to know does anyone know if they do a wheelchair accessible one to Pisa and Florence or any of them on their own, I know its early and it's impossible to know if they would do it on our trip but i am just asking to see if they have done them in the past.

Hello @flowingwater and welcome to the Cruise Critic message boards!

I suggest you also research our Disabled Cruise Travel forum. It is where your fellow Cruise Critic members with physical limitations share their advice & experiences.

Hope this will be helpful!

Happy sails,

Am I missing something here? @flowingwater, you are asking about if P&O offers an wheelchair acceptable excursion to Pisa or Florence, or if you can do one on your own? I suggested asking on the P&O board for P&O specific info. Some tour vendors may offer wheelchair friendly tours...I would check with the ones mentioned here frequently, like the wonderful Rome in Limo, that we have used (not for wheelchair services) many times.

Sorry for the confusion Bruce i did mean a wheelchair accessible and on your own. The problem is i can walk a little using crutches  but our latest trip to Seville from Cadiz was a struggle as we did Seville on your own, Now i can manage with a bit of a struggle if their are places to sit and rest but i would rather make life a bit easier and take the wheelchair so i wanted to know if they done a wheelchair accessible trip to Pisa and Florence or one or the other. My trouble is i find it hard to accept i need a wheelchair now so ends up struggling on crutches. I happen to confuse you because some excursions are named Seville on your own wheelchair accessible.
