The fish was good again, nice to see consistency for the most part with the new Emril items.

Eggplant was very good but that was an insane portion. I might get it with the salad next week.

For dessert I got the banana cream pie 653.

I'm not really catching a second wind so I am going to go ahead and pack it in for the evening.

I'd like to watch some TV, but the only good channel is Food Network, and after that dinner tonight I don't want to look at food for a while. YouTube it is then.

Tomorrow is Belize, which holds about a zero percent chance of me exploring so it will be a stay on the ship day.

Good night everyone see you tomorrow.

I got another Ship on a Stick. I did not mean to, I've been to this same trivia three weeks in a row.

Most expensive Ship on a Stick ever lol.

Are you still having a good time?

Good morning everyone.

Despite the attempt at an early evening, my body wasn't having it and I probably didn't get to sleep any earlier than I have been but at least I saved some calories from not drinking or having a late night food run.

Not going to get off the ship today in Belize but I need to join the land of the living, so I'm kicking off the covers and heading out to the daylight now.

Still having a great time but of course after a few weeks things do get a bit repetitive. I know that going in, and things are going to get mixed up a little next week (he says foreshadowing to something without explaining what)

As to gingerbread villages…this appeared overnight on one of the Atrium staircases on MSC Seashore: I don’t think there is any gingerbread but a whole lot of icing

That is amazing! If I had one nitpick, did we have to block a busy staircase to do it 😆

Amazing work though and with all that icing, surely it is edible 😋

Belize is a hot mess to tender into even on a small ship.

Four hours into our port stop, Mike just called the last group of ticket holders to the tenders.

If you've never been to Belize and don't book an excursion, plan on getting up early for a ticket or you will spend your day waiting to get off.

I'm really surprised a ship this big stops here, it is about a 20-30 minute ride to the island, so they aren't moving people very fast with each tender taking about an hour round trip.

Cruise Mapper and Cruise Time Tables has these ships in Mahogany Bay today:

Viking Mars
Harmony Of The Seas
Enchantment Of The Seas
Regal Princess
Carnival Mardi Gras

But it has Sky Princess with you instead of Regal, so who knows how accurate they are.

I peeked also and saw the discrepancy. Maybe sky and Regal are switched?

Either way, that's a lot of big ships in town. Obviously Mardi Gras gets one of the spots in Mahogany Bay. As the premium line, makes sense for one of the other princess ships to get the other slot. We're stuck over here in Belize 😆

It's pouring right now. I feel bad for those who went out. That is a long ride on the tender in the pouring rain.

The last time we were there we hopped in the tender just for the ride and check out the port shops. We enjoy the ride in the water. I will say it poured on the way back. We found a center standing spot away from the windows. We were dry. The lightning and thunder on the water added to the ambiance of the ride. So many people were panicking. We sleep on our boat in the summer so storms on the water aren’t new to us.

Catching up on all your adventures, but is there any bar that has a good Bourbon selection? EH Taylor, Blantons, etc?

I asked at Alchemy, casino and atrium bar and got the same answer. Buffalo trace and Woodford.

I'll check at the piano bar and steakhouse once they open, they are the next best bet but so far its been the same selection across bar.

I've done the round trip tender ride here before and Grand Cayman. It's such a long round trip in Belize it's basically a free excursion 😆
