I assume you never plan to go back to Brazil?  I’d hazard to guess the reaction if you stiff a government out of a fee and reapply in a few years.

Did I say i was going to Brazil?  I simply asked a question.

Just to interject some macabre humor….got an email saying they were waiting for a reupload but again provided no link to do so and again noted that “name and birthdate” were different from the passport.  Then, the very next day, same bra# and inquiry #, references Edward (not my husband’s name) needing to reload the same information!  Obviously the same numbers got assigned to two different accounts!  So much for $$ spent and obviously now lost.

I have heard from a friend doing the Amazon in February that Brazil has pushed the visa requirement date back a few more months.

FWIW, I got my Brazilian e-visa last week.  My wife's got rejected for the passport scan and photo (I made the mistake of telling her to smile a little - my bad!).

 

We re-uploaded new files a few days ago and we'll see what happens.  I mean, we won't need them for our upcoming cruise, but dammit, we paid for 'em, and I want 'em!!  😄

So they didn't like the 2x2 photo we uploaded.  Snapped a new one and tried to upload it and the system STILL wanted an updated passport page even though we had already sent a new one.  Kicked me out twice as well.

 

Terrible experience doing something that should be much easier.  Even more frustrating knowing we probably don't even need to do this.  How do you say 'Grrrrrrr' in Portuguese?
