WindinmySails Posted December 8, 2023 #1 Share Posted December 8, 2023 (edited) So..an NCL agent told me that all NCL ships were going to a fixed menu, instead of a rotating daily menu in the main dining room. So each day the choices woud be the same, but the menu would be more diverse. I know that this is done on Prima, but does anyone know for sure if this is done fleet wide? We'll be sailing on Getaway in April 2024. Thanks! Edited December 8, 2023 by WindinmySails
Rare BirdTravels Posted December 8, 2023 #2 Share Posted December 8, 2023 Unlikely. They did not do that on their newest ship.
TheDawg79 Posted December 8, 2023 #3 Share Posted December 8, 2023 First I’ve heard of this. Scaling down menu options each night is the current MDR trend along many cruise lines. NCL would be the exception to expand daily menu offerings

NCL would be the exception to expand daily menu offerings When Prima first sailed, they were testing a fixed menu with more options including a build your own pasta option, more fish options and the ability to pick which sides you wanted. The idea was if they could focus on the same dishes every night, the quality of the dishes would improve. There was backlash from passengers that felt they got bored of the menu too easily. It has since gone back to rotating menus. The link below has the menu. https://profcruise.com/norwegian-prima-dining-menus/
