Any hotel suggestions in Miami that have transfers to Port of Miami and in an area where we can walk to restaurants/bars in evening? We’re seniors, so mostly interested in sports bars, casual places.

Consider the Intercontinental Hotel on the Miami Downtown Harbor (within sight of the cruise piers). No shuttle. But, a taxi or Uber to your ship will cost less than $10.
Wonderful restaurants and bars at the hotel. And walk right around the corner to the fabulous Il Gabbiano Italian Restaurant.

Only a few hotels near MIA airport, and the Hampton Inn Mary Brickell in downtown, offer paid shuttles to POM.  Everywhere else you are on your own for a taxi, Uber or Lyft.  Lots of local dining and nightlife options near the Hampton Inn

Don't look for hotels with port shuttles. I have yet to see once that does not charge per-person and usually the charge is more expensive then a taxi/uber.

If you want a lot of places near by look at hotels in Brickell. Two good ones in great locations are Hampton Inn Brickell or East Miami. You have a very quick and cheap taxi or uber ride to the Port from any hotel in Brickell or Downtown.

Thank you all. After listening to you and looking at the area, we have decided to book the Hampton Inn Brickell.
We live in Los Angeles, and we know that there can be a wonderful hotel at a good price, but

if you aren’t comfortable walking around the hotel, it’s not a good choice. Unless of course, you’re there to sleep and leave at dawn.
Thanks so much.
