Guaranteed cabin bar code trick

I have  an Android phone so I downloaded a QR code APP.  I scanned the bar code on my ressie and came up with a number. I then scanned my husbands and came up with another number. My grandsons number was the same as my husbands.  What's up? Am I doing something wrong?  Thank you for your help.

An RCI IT issue may be causing that - it should be fixed once you get the actual cabin assignment. Are both cabin numbers in the category you booked?

I just checked again, i checked yesterday. Now they are all showing same #.  Thank you

Yes, I did get the better of the 2.

I've got a GTY next month so have been doing this with my android phone. I've noticed it is really particular when I scan it in the code reader app. It some times coming up with different numbers when clearly the barcode isn't changing on the screen. Probably something to do with maybe not catching all of the bars I'm not sure.
