Rare APDMOM Posted December 22, 2023 Author #126 Share Posted December 22, 2023 Dinner in Savor We enjoyed dinner in Savor with coconut shrimp, asparagus soup, Seafood Paella, and the lamb shank. Everything was good to excellent. We decided this will be our last meal in Savor. There is just always too much food for us to manage. 3
Rare APDMOM Posted December 22, 2023 Author #127 Share Posted December 22, 2023 Choir of Man We ended our day attending Choir of Man again. We walked in 1 minute before the show started and found seats behind the sound booth. It was fun to see the tech side - and how much they also get into the show.

Maybe others can chime in. 🙂 - Arrive around 10:30 at the port for embarkation - it can be hit or miss, but we had no lines. -We had no lines for shows in the main theater. Be sure to make a reservation for Choir of Man if you plan on going. Show up about 15 minutes before the show starts. - Don’t try to leave the ship as soon as it is cleared in port. Rather wait about 1 hour. - We have only seen a line outside Syd’s Pourhouse. We were not interested in going there since it gets packed, so I don’t think there is any way to avoid that line. - Make dinner reservations before 6 - we only ate at Savor for sit down restaurants and never had a long line. - Try to use the slides, etc. on a port day. Lines are almost non existent or very short while the ship is in port. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have other questions. Enjoy your cruise! Thank you for your response! This is helpful. 10:30 sounds great for embarkation, we were thinking it would be much later to avoid the lines. I know a lot of lines are unavoidable. 15 minutes for Choir of Man sounds totally reasonable.

Solution - time to visit that onboard fitness center, complimentary and usually not crowded. P.S. skip the dessert and that should keep the calories down, and ... those bread basket & don't go for the butter. Happy holidays 😆 😄 👌 1

And here I am, in all my fat rolls, bemoaning the extremely small portion sizes. Now I know how to get skinny...go on a cruise and just eat at the main dining room! 😜

Rare APDMOM Posted December 23, 2023 Author #135 Share Posted December 23, 2023 Not Quite Escaping "The Storm" Since the weather did not allow for tendering, Nassau replaced our island day. Who would have thought this day would be so jam-packed with fun that I would not even get around to posting more on this thread before leaving? 🙂 We seized the day with the best weather we have ever experienced in Nassau (meaning not so humid that you melt within the first 5 minutes off the ship). So, the rest of "My View" will need to wait until we are home. I have too many ship pictures and a few more tips coming. Don't change the channel... we will see you again tomorrow.

Rare APDMOM Posted December 23, 2023 Author #138 Share Posted December 23, 2023 We are home, most of the laundry is done, and I am ready to continue with day 7. I will try to wrap this up in the next couple of days. 🙂 Early Morning Views of Nassau: Since we arrived so early, I got to see some Christmas Lights from the ship...

Rare APDMOM Posted December 23, 2023 Author #140 Share Posted December 23, 2023 Breakfast at O'Sheehan's Ironically, DH and DS ordered pancakes, which they could easily get up in the buffet. I had the breakfast sandwich. We enjoyed our breakfast and coffee, as well as the always friendly service in this venue:
Rare APDMOM Posted December 23, 2023 Author #141 Share Posted December 23, 2023 To Stay on the Ship or Not? At first, we decided to stay on the ship and play minigolf, enjoy the sunshine and pool, slides, etc. Unfortunately, the sun did not show up and the ropes course and slides did not open until later. So, we decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather to go for a walk. We have been to Nassau many times and have never experienced such mild weather. It usually feels like 99% humidity, but this day was different. Walk with us through the city: Christmastime is Here: There is always a pirate somewhere!
